Slasher Risk are a couple of kids from beautiful Brooklyn that make wonderfully noisy psych rock.
Starting out with a great riff they tare it limb from limb and beat it senseless with its own notes.
Watching Slasher Risk play is like watching them blow up an old Vegas casino. They take classic foundation, stick in a couple well placed sticks of dynamite (or effects pedals) and just blow that shit right up! Clearing the path for something new and putting on a rad show in the process.
They also tend to light shit on fire and knock things down.
And when they are done they rebuild, and blow it up again.
Thus is the circle of life and it moves us all.
And you know there is hope once again in the desert.
