Holy fuck, I never thought I'd ever see a pic of Tairrie B again much less even think about her. About 7 years ago I worked at an electronic music label in the Pacific Northwest that also distributed music from such wonderful genres as "apocalyptic folk", "black metal", "goth", "industrial Nordic metal" and the like. Daily we would get awful awful awful demos and promos of stuff we wouldn't touch in a million years. We had a dusty cardboard box by the back door where we would dump this stuff (99 times out of 100 unlistened to) and the next time we made a delivery to the local record store that carried our label's releases we would bring this shit to them for them to foist onto the unsuspecting public. Well, we received numerous copies of My Ruin records and press info. We looked at the stuff and laughed our asses off but no one was brave enough to listen. We dismissed it as lame, cheesy L.A. rock. Oh my god, I had no idea she had a past as a rapper! Holy fuck! Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I've laughed so much! On that rap record cover she looks like she's doing her best MC Hammer impersonation as a white, blond, tough as beeyach. Oh IVOR, how you make me laugh!
