There are tons of songs about L.A. but MURS’ “L.A.†is the only one that makes me fell better when I miss home. I don’t really care that it is in basketball video games or that he hosts a TV show on Al Gore’s TV network or that he just got signed to Warner Brothers, this song is everything I love about music and L.A.
The song talks about the good and the bad (and about how the bad isn’t as bad as people think it is). The song reads like a map and even drops a nod to Magic. Meh, whatever I think I’m starting to sound lame. Just listen to it.
