		<description>Hello. I know there great mystery around this album. Ashrae Fax was a psych-synth/ambiant/dance band from NC who started in the early/mid 90&#039;s. They started as a two piece and went through several amalgamations before ending up as a four piece to record their best record in my opinion, &quot;Static Crash&quot; in 2001 (which is t he album I believe you are speaking of). They did a few short tours before front woman Renee Mendoza and cofounder/guitarist Alex Chesney parted ways so Renee could focus on her songwriting. Alex is currnetly performing as a solo noise/experimental artist under the name &quot;Faster Detail&quot; and Renee formed southern soul/psych folk band, &quot;Filthybird&quot;. The album is currently out of print. Hope this helps....</description>
